These shoes run about 1 size too small. The heels are about 5 and a half inches (measured at the back of the heel) and are quite sturdy. A very attractive and classic pair of shoes.

This shoe is versatile in that I can wear it for work or parties. The low heel makes it easy for me to walk in and fits my wide feet. I normally wear flats but love the comfortable fit. I may even buy this pair in another color.
