I LOVE the ranger boots, both kinds with the buckles and without. I have been buying these boots for about 10 years now and have probably had to buy about 15 pairs over that time. Back 10 years ago, the boots would last at least a year (I wore them almost everyday), now though they seem to be made a lot cheaper because I don't wear them that much and I'm constantly buying a new pair every 6-8 months because the back heel breaks open. The actual heel starts to come off, etc. Either way, I'm still going to buy these shoes because I can't find another brand with the same heal.

These are absolutely fabulous boots. They're thick and sturdy and visually stunning.They fit true to size, but my only complaint is the shaft is narrow, so if you have larger calves (muscular or not) you probably will have a difficult time zipping them up. My suggestion is to undo the laces and the buckles, and then try zipping them up.I just got them today and will be wearing them all day tomorrow to break them in!

They may be platform but they're actually pretty easy to get around in, i go swing dancing [including lindy hop] every week and I've never had a problem. I love the buckles especially, fun to wear and have a very distinctive noise. A lot of people do wonder how i get around so well, but they're very easy to get used to, even for me who never has had platforms before. They're currently my only pair of shoe as well, fine to wear everyday/all day.

I have been wearing boots for over 10 years and I have been wearing Demonia brand for over 5 of those. This is my first pair of this style of Demoniaboots; I like to switch styles when I get a new pair. These are men's boots and I'm a woman so it gets tricky sometimes to guess what size I should get. I am a woman's 10 and the boots that ended up fitting are a men's 9. These boots are a bit clunky at first but after about a week I broke them in and now they are a stompy extension of my own foot. The zippers are a really nice touch because the last pair I had didn't have them and with laces and buckles the zippers makes putting these boots on and taking them off a snap. These boots are a nice snug fit around my calf and go up to a bit below the knee. Overall I really love these stompy little guys
Wears this shoe: I wear my boots almost every day and out clubbing.
