I love these shoes. I was skeptical upon buying them because I have wide calves, but they fit perfectly. I love the side zipper. It makes them so easy to pull on and off. I totally recommend these shoes. If you're a lady, like me, and and wear a half size, go the next size up to give your toes extra room for thick socks. So, I'm a 8.5 in women and I bought a 7 in men.

I ordered these shoes to wear with my Pink Pummeler costume (Dr. Horrible character). They fit really well. I didn't have a chance to break them in before I had to wear them all day. It didn't matter. I was on my feet pretty much all day and the shoes held up like a champ. At the end of the day, the socks I had on were stained by the insides, though. Just a heads-up.

I just ordered the knee-high version of this shoe because I love this one so much! They are comfortable. They are true to size & not a hair bigger. If you are a woman size 8.5, get the mens size 7 (= womens size 9) so you have adequate toe room, especially if you plan to wear thicker socks. These shoes are fun & goth & great with jeans or cropped cargo pants.

I saw these boots on somebody at a concert I attended, and after asking about them, I decided to buy a pair. I normally wear a size 11, so that's what I ordered. They were huge. I had to return them and drop down to a size 10. The size tens fit wonderfully. The boots themselves are very comfortable. The quality of the construction is very good as well. The only thing that I might question is that the zippers are nylon. I would've preferred metal. I do suggest buying them.
