the studs come off, not all, but alot of them do. if you buy these i suggest pressing down behind the spikes with a pair of pliars. my sole ripped at the side a little, but i do believe this is because i ordered a size a tad too large. the shoes are very lightweight, a little cold when you first start wearing them, really tight, they look really good. so theres my pros n cons. oh and the logo on the bottom came off.....im not sure if this is supposed to come off or because i kinda tore it off........:(
