It was very difficult to zip around both ankles, like a suitcase that is overpacked. Worried the zipper would break or the stitching would rip out. Once zipped up the boot felt fine--not too tight on the leg or ankle. The foot area was just a smidge too narrow--would have become uncomfortable by the end of the day. Nice looking boot but decided to return it for didn't think it would last

David Tate Oregon not a wide calf boot by any means

This description says that it will fit a calf up to 19inches which is an absolute joke and I am tired of ordering boots that say one thing and are another! My calf is 161/2 around on my left and 17 on my right (don't know why) but I could barely barely zip up on my left and it was so tight it was uncomfortable and I could not zip it on the right at all. So disappointing they are not real leather which I knew, but they still seem nice and looked good and heel was good height. But I refuse to use a boot stretcher and make the fake leather look weird and stretchy - they were not cheap. They should fit the leg they advertise. I am by no means big! I just have big calves and I am so tired of this I want to start my own company!
