I loved the style of this boot when I first saw it. It was exactly the look that I was going for, and I was thrilled to see that it came in a size that would accommodate my extra-wide foot. Unfortunately, I was in a great deal of pain within an hour of wearing them. I purchased the extra-wide, but they felt incredibly narrow, almost as if they couldn't even pass for a single wide. The other problem here is the calf - yes, I have extra-wide feet, but I do not have gargantuan calves. Thick, yes, but not THAT thick! The calf circumference was a bit too large, but fortunately not to the point of sagging or looking too ridiculous. I gave these boots three stars because they are very stylish looking and I absolutely loved the look of the laced-up front. I just wish that they felt as wide as they should. I'm hoping that wearing them a bit more will stretch them out enough to not make my toes squish up and over one another(ouch!).
