This is a fabulous, quality leather messenger bag. I purchased it for my daughter who is in college. However, I would use it myself. It has space for a laptop, or you could use it to carry large files, books.

I get so many compliments on this bag. I carry my lunch, my wallet, my keys. my laptop and everything fits with room for extera. There are plenty of compartments for lipstick and my hair brush, my hand lotion, so I can easily reach them. I bought the brown and the color looks very natural. I plan to buy another one in black. Sturdy too. I carry a lot of stuff which makes this bag heavy, but it has held out as it is very well made.
