I used to be a fan of Smartwool, but after wearing these Coolmax ones hunting and hiking in the South Texas desert, I'm not going back. My feet stayed cool and pampered during a hot 50 mile safari. They are darn expensive and worth every penny.

Both my husband and son received these from me as gifts. They state these are the best socks they have ever worn. This tells me a lot because both men are creatures of comfort. Because I liked these so much while hiking in Glacier Nat'l Park, I bought some for my husband for Christmas. He gave a solid thumbs up & said he liked them better than his usual wool socks.

I bought four pairs of the Darn Tough Boot Socks because I saw a TV show on how they are still made 100% in the USA. I figured a sock was a sock. Wrong! These are nice socks, support my feet well and keep them warm and dry. They appear to be made so as to wear a long time. I will buy more of these and some of the other styles Darn Tough makes.
