The boots are very nice. I am very picky about my feet so I have tried on lots of boots. These are very comfortable, and light weight. 800 grams is perfect for all year round use. Only drawback I've seen is the eyelets at the top are starting to fray the laces. Not a big deal. Seem to be very waterproof so far. I highly reccomend these boots. If 800 grams is not enough or too much, just get a different insulation size, the fit is still the same.

I've been pretty much a Wolverine boot wearer since trying them 15 years ago. I have four pair and one pair of Converse duty boots that wear well and decided to try out Danner. So far these boots feel great and definitely have a quality that is apparent when inspecting the materials and craftsmanship. Since there's no side zipper, one thing they really need are speed laces. The aglets really take a beating as they aren't designed to become a daily part of the on/off process. That's my only complaint so far which isn't much of a complaint.
