I previously had a pair of Danner Striker II boots for four years. The heel on one of the boots started to part from the boot so I bought another pair. The only complaint I had about the first pair was that within a month two of the eyelet reinforces came loose on each boot. Other than that I thought they were very comfortable and kept my feet dry and warm. So far the new pair seem to be just as good as the old pair.

I am a police officer in North Carolina and could not locally find a comfortable boot that was black, waterproof, and insulated. I wear it daily and it serves the purpose. I have only had them a few weeks and have already cut and marked the leather on of the toes and I haven't been in abnormally rough places.

These fit well and are comfortable out of the box. They're a little bulkier than I expected. I bought them for Harley riding.

This is great boot. Having had danner arcadia's before and not enjoying the break in time, these were good to go right out of the box with the new style sole. Took a 4 mile hike the first time out and had no comfort problems.
