I can't say any more positive words other than buy these boots. They are very easy to break in and wear from the moment you take them out of the box. I had a friend that liked mine so much that I had to order a pair for her too. Just be careful to make sure that you purchase the GTX 45 II Strikers and not the first model, there is a definite difference. It was much improved on the second design. I wear these shoes all day and can attest to comfort after having foot surgery. My feet only approve the best in fabrication. These shoes prove the acclaimed professional level that Danner lives up to for their customer needs. Style and comfort are the major components for my selection to include the durability. I don't mind the price if the shoe is giving me comfort and holds up to the quality I expect. I do have other Danner products, but these are so easy to wear and a popular personal choice of mine.
Wears this shoe: I purchased this shoe to wear all day whether at work or for casual wear.

The boots are great once you have broke them in. Although they run small in size they are very comfortable once you have the correct size. I had to return them twice and was pleasently surprised by the service I received from Shoebuy. They quickly placed the return credit to my card and within three days the new pair was shipped.
