This is my second pair of these. It's hard to believe a shoe this light in weight provides so much protection and support. These keep your feet dry, warm, and toasty when walking in cold and / or wet conditions.

This is my third pair of 452's. I wear them every day for my job and I'm rather hard on footwear. They are the most comfortable out-of-the-box work shoes I've worn. Great waterproofing and they look good. Not your usual run of the mill workboot, they look great with jeans or khaki's. I get complimented on them often. Good support, good tread. Danner makes a great product.

I bought these shoes . I need them to correct supination. Danner shoes were recommended to me . My first experience with the inserts in the Danner shoes was very favorable and it continues after about 100 miles of hiking. They are very comfortable and stable. I have two small issues with them: it is a bit difficult to lace them, as the shoelaces are thin and difficult to pull. Second, I think that Danner soles seem to be a bit less durable than the Vibram soles

I'm on my second pair--would still be on my first pair but the tread does not last--need a better rubber for the tread that last a little bit longer.
