As a mailman and avid backpacker, my footwear is paramount, and for years I have worn nothing but Danner boots. The fit is perfect, the construction and comfort superb. I have had occasion to check the waterproofing while walking a 7-mile route in the rain, and my feet stayed toasty and dry. The Quarry's have proven to be as excellent as all my experience with Danners...KUDOS.

I purchased this pair of Danner Quarry Alloy Toe Work boots after owning a pair of the 600 gram Thinsulate insulated version of the same model. I have found that these boots seem perfect for me and I have a difficult foot to fit. My feet are wide and I have high arches which requires more volume to fit properly. I am on concrete all day so comfort is important. I tried 7 different types of work boots before finding the Danners and they provide all the needs: great fit, good support, comfortable even at days end, waterproof and, very important, recraftable. The Vibram soles provide great traction in snow and ice. I am very satisfied with this product

I have been a loyal Danner boot customer for over 20 years. I am on my feet all day and need a boot that keeps me comfortable and holds up to the demands of construction work. Previously I had used hunting boots, but have found the Quarry boot to hold up better to the demands of pounding the pavement all day. I have never had to break in a pair of Danners; I wear them right away with no sore feet. Great product!
