The boots are very nice. I am very picky about my feet so I have tried on lots of boots. These are very comfortable, and light weight. 800 grams is perfect for all year round use. Only drawback I've seen is the eyelets at the top are starting to fray the laces. Not a big deal. Seem to be very waterproof so far. I highly reccomend these boots. If 800 grams is not enough or too much, just get a different insulation size, the fit is still the same.

Hunted mountains of southwest Virginia right out of the box. rocky and steep terrain was not a problem. Good warm boot. Even had a light snow to deal with.
