I wore the Danner boot right out of the box while herding 18 adult elk in a 20 acre enclosure! Took 9 hours to finally corral 3 cows. The boots were put through the test running through brush, briers, mud, prairie grass and such.The boots held up great, they were comfortable and now I look forward to the fast approaching deer season.

Fit is great. Cleanup easy after the mud. Walk for miles and don't even think about my feet. The best thing on a mild cold day my feet stay dry and warm.

I have worn danners for over 25 years, and for my money there is not a better boot. The only reason I'm rating the pronghorn camohide GTX 8" 400 gram lower then 5 star is that I bought a pair before hunting season last year and on my 2nd trip they leaked. With Danner's great warranty there was no problem with the return. I'm giving the pronghorn another try becuase of the pure comfort of the boot (before they leaked) right out of the box. If I stay dry this season they will be a 5 star boot just like every other danner I have ever owned.
