A word to the wise. Before you buy, make sure that these zippers match your style of Danner boots. You need to have boots with round eyelets that go all the way to the top. These lace in zippers do not suit those boots with 'speed lacing' style uppers as there are no matching holes to line up. This is not a fault with the product as all Danner products are first class. It is a design variation that you need to check before you buy.

I've got an old set of boots that I like to wear for motorcycle riding, but was finding that lacing them up correctly every time was burning time that could have been used for other activities (you don't want a lace coming loose and getting caught in something rotating). These lace-in zippers fit just about perfect, make the boots "just right" every time, and allowed me to knot them off in a way that makes me confident that they won't start fluttering in the breeze.

The first install went so-so as I needed them tighter, but I used the alternate lacing method on the packaging and now they are perfect fit. Quick in, quick out with exact fit.
