Well I am sure that it isn't the best boot ever made, but it sure as hell is a great boot. I have tremendous foot issues so the regular boot doesn't work for me. I don't mind paying a decent price for something that is as well crafted as this boot. I would recommend this boot to anyone. I bought a pair for my husband because I liked mine so well.

I am a retired railroad worker. In my experience, the only boots that hold up to the rock-pounding work done by railroaders is one with "Vibram" soles.
