Why can't the Army buy this boot

Quite possibly the best boot I have ever bought. They broke in quickly and are almost as comfortable as my running shoes to wear. The quality of the construction is bar none. Compared to several pairs of Bellville's that I have had that had mismatched material and seems that did not hold up . Not the case with these boots. I have the temperate weather models which are a little warm in the summer but I knew that when I bought them. Ankle support is awesome. These boots are way more comfortable, lighter and more supportive than the standard issue Army flight boots I was wearing. Between the sale price at shoebuy.com and the cashback from bing.com I picked these up for about $25 less than the Belville's I was wearing

As is typical with Danner, this boot is built tough and comfortable. It's a little narrow in the toe box, but other than that it's super comfortable. I threw a pair of Sole insoles in the oven and let my feet mold to the boot and have been very satisfied. Even after running around with body armor on all day, my feet don't ache. I get the feeling that the boot will survive my OEF deployment without any trouble.

Great, comfortable boots..

Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked
Shoe Width: Felt wider than marked
Pros: Great cushioning, solid arch support, light weight, good traction on loose soil.Cons: Speedlace eyelets make putting the boot on, taking it off difficult because the laces are too tight without retreading. The printable sizing chart was not real accurate. Probably needed a regular instead of wide, and a 1/2 size smaller.

I'm a heavy construction worker and you will not find a more comfortable, lighter, more durable boot than this...period. I've owned two pairs and four coworkers have purchased them also and love them too!

After many previous purchases from Shoebuy, I decided to spend what I thought was a little more money for military boots made by Danner. Shoebuy was still the lowest price I found on the internet. After opening the box and putting these boots on, price was no longer a factor. These are, by far, the most well made and comfortable boots I have ever worn. Durable materials, extremely well constructed, and great protection all with flexibility and freedom of movement. Have already ordered a second pair.
