I've had these boots for awhile now, and I like the fit and finish of these boots. They fit my indoor and outdoor activities really well, except that on any snowy, slushy, icy, or wet smooth surface, they are tailbone busters - you're gonna end up on your butt. I don't know how many times I've walked indoors onto a smooth concrete or tile floor and almost wiped out. I have to be careful walking on any amount of snow or ice too. The rubber compound, not the tread, I believe is the culprit. It's tough to find the right words to express how slippery these things are on so many surfaces.

I bought these boots for my son because he was always complaining about his heavy boots and how sore his legs and feet got when hunting all day. I have two pairs of similar Danner boots and love them. I recommended these to him and he has hunted the past two weekends and loves them. No problem with sore feet or legs. Great product and you can not go wrong with Danner boots. Thanks.
