Danner Danner 453 GTX 5.5" ST Don't fit well

Don't like them at all, too narrow. I have a pair of Danner 1200 gram hunting boots and LOVE them. Fit perfect, warm, comfortable so I bought these, same size and width and they're too narrow and not comfortable at all. Very regrettable purchase.

I bought this hiking boot because it was "made in the USA." One of the reviewers mentioned that the boot is a little tight, with a need to break them in. I agree; it is a little tight, but I have begun getting a better fit. I wear it now when I walk the dog to break them in. In a few weeks, I will be using them for my main purpose - hiking. I will have a better idea how they fit and hold up after hiking in a couple of national parks.

This is my 3rd pair of these boots. Previous 2 pairs lasted about 6 1/2 years each. I wore these to work 95% of the time. I never had any foot or knee issues. I worked 12hr shifts in a semiconductor factory, routinely walking 6 to 12 miles a day. I recommend these boots to anyone complaining of foot or knee pain.

Danners are the most comfortable boot I can find for my feet. I bought them because they are no hassle to put on (bad back). Living in Alaska it's custom to take your shoes off to prevent dragging snow everywhere.
