Beware Elastic Inserts Stretch this Shoe

I love, love, love this pretty shoe, but as soon as I tried it on, it flapped off my foot. The problem is there are small elastic inserts built into both sides of the back of the shoe. They extend each time you take a step and cause the shoe to fall off.Just ordered a smaller size and hoping for the best! The style is so cute, I really want these to work.

I thought it was supposed to be wide...

The shoe is super-cute; I love the blue and white color scheme. These look great with shorts and capris and I've even worn them with knee-length skirts. But I ordered them because they came in wide and even after wearing them in, they feel like normal width, or even narrow shoes. It's really unfortunate, because they'll wear out faster with my feet pushing the sides out all the time. I've had that problem with other shoes before.

I liked it, but is seems too large. I kept it to wear with socks in the cold winter.
