These are high quality, beautiful leather boots. The shaft is 1 1/2 inches smaller at the top than my other boots, & is smaller in the width of the footbed. I paid too much to keep them & hope they will stretch out enough over time. Most boots are comfortable right out of the box. I put them back to back with 5 other brands that I own, and the outsole is much smaller.All are marked a 9m. I'm not sure if it's just this pair, or all Dan Post boots run smaller.I really wish they fit, I love how well made & pretty they are. :(
