I bought this watch specifically for hiking, but use it on a daily basis on my backpack. Whether you're on a trail in the woods or hiking across campus to get to a class, having the time conveniently placed on the bag strap is great. The watch keeps time very accurately, and is easy to read. The spring-loaded ring is handy, and the microlight is incredibly bright for its size. The clip itself is very secure.
