Cushioned shoes, or neutral cushioning shoes, are shoes designed for runners with normal to high arches who tend to underpronate. Cushioning shoes generally have a padded midsole with layers of extra cushioning in the heel and forefoot that provide better energy return to the body when compressed while helping absorb heel shock and encouraging a more natural foot motion.

My husband loves these slippers because he has a narrow foot and has a hard time finding slippers to fit. He prefers the tan color but we found out that they are discontinuing this line of slippers. We are just sick about this because we get these slippers every year for him.

Putting these slippers on and walking is better than being bare footed on new carpeting. They are soft, supple, warm, and with socks they are fine for brief outings. I plan to keep these near my front door for rapid transition into my comfort zone. Thanks for this unexpected treat.
