Fit:
This style is available in whole sizes only and tends to run size too big. If you normally order a 1 1/2 we recommended that you order the next full size down. For example, if you normally purchase a size 1 we recommend purchasing a size 1.

Great shoe for play.

The sizing on these shoes is sometimes confusing on other sites, so beware. A Men's size 3 is the same as a Women's 5, and is also may be listed as Children's 3 or Junior's 3. I really like these shoes. I'm an adult with small feet and these work well for me. They're extremely casual and extremely washable. I just toss them in the tub while I'm showering, or use a fingernail brush if they get really dirty. They'd be great play shoes for kids. My nieces and nephews love them, and it's great that the smaller sizes come with a back strap. I have no trouble keeping them on without the back strap, but young kids otherwise would, I think. I can also wear them with socks. Not a great fashion statement, but these aren't exactly the most fashionable style anyway.
Wears this shoe: Around the house, gardening, when I need shoes that can be ruined.

I was hesitant at first, but these are far more comfortable for my son, and colorful & fun. He loves these. We use them for the pool and a transitional shoe between home and the baseball field. He'd like to wear them every day. This is our 2nd pair for him; he outgrew the others and wanted the same shoe again. I think that they are discontinuing this style, and we sure hate to see it go!

I bought a pair for each of my kids, and they are really cute shoes. I love that they can be worn while running through the sprinkler and to the beach without having to worry about them getting ruined. However, I wish the bigger sizes (above 10/11) came with the heel straps. I didn't realize the 12/13's that I ordered wouldn't have them, and the kids feet keep slipping out of them. It's not so bad that I need to return them, but it annoys the kids.

My son absolutely loves his scutes! He wears them all the time - they are the first shoes his been this happy with. My 11 year old wishes they came in his size.
