I bought my first pair of Sassaris a few years ago after my husband insisted I try Crocs, but I couldn't bring myself to wear the garden-shoe type Croc. They quickly became my favorite shoes. The brightly colored shoes are fun for summer with a sundress, but the darker shoes, the black and brown versions, are stylish and conservative enough for office wear. The non-slip sole is solid and stable. The footbed of the shoe is made of antibacterial Croclite, and feels like a quality gel insert. After 2 years of wear, my first pair are still in perfect shape and haven't broken down at all. I live and work in Oregon, and my job includes both office and outside work, where I sometimes have to slosh through puddles and mud. The Sassari washes off easily, and five minutes after being ankle-deep in mud, a quick hosing off, and you're ready for the office again.
