I bought these for my father (82) for this past Christmas, size 12. Hates uncomfortable shoes, very picky. He mentioned he liked the look, but he usually needs a 12 1/2 in a slip-on/loafer. I ordered the 12 based on the note that they ran big and took a chance. They're perfect! He and mom just returned from a new year's cruise in which he broke in his shoes with ease and he's crazy about them.

These shoes looks rustic and unrefined yet are very comfortable and fun to wear. Did not follow the advice to order a size smaller than normal which was a good thing because these feel like they are a little smaller than normal. The removable insoles are very thick so these nice to walk in but makes for a tight fit when worn with even the thinnest socks. They fit just about right when worn barefoot. Will order a size larger then normal next time to see how that works out while keeping this pair to wear without socks.Only had these a couple days so can't speak to longevity but they look like they could survive being thrown into the washing machine several times without a problem.

I bought these shoes for my s-i-l and ordered a size smaller as directed. They did not fit but my husband is enjoying them. He has heel problems and they have the cushion he needs.Great pair of shoes just order the true size...
