I wear mostly Converse and DM shoes. I already own a pair of the Billie Joe Product(Red) and wanted a canvas version as pictured here (a black shoe with a red stripe). As others have reported, the shoe that arrived did not have a red stripe around the top. It has a black stripe, which, other than the red top lace hole, looks just like my regular black shoes. I'm sending them back.

When I received this shoe it was similar to the shoe that was pictured on the internet but there were differences. As the picture on the internet indicates a red stripe around the shoe this did not exist on the actual shoe I received. Overall the shoe is OK...

Love Converse but these shoes do not have the red stripe between the canvas and the rubber sole. Doesn't matter - they are still awesome!

I got these shoes about a month ago and they are fantastic. The canvas felt kind of soft as opposed to the normal canvas. These are great all purpose shoes! I love the x detailing on the back stripe and the front rubber. The only thing negative is that in the pictures there is a red stripe on the top of the rubber sidewalls. Instead it was lack and I was not told. But they are still great!
