Product Description (Men's Converse Work Waterproof Insulated 8" Sport Boot)

This waterproof and insulated 8" Sport Boot from Converse is a well-built boot with a removable EVA cushion insert, a shock elimator heel plug and a sponge rubber heel wedge. The duel density outsole features an EVA cushion midsole with a heel airbag and a durable traction rubber bottom with a 90 degree heel. The composite toe securely protects the foot while remaining light weight and will not conduct heat, cold, or electricity. Composit toe meets or exceeds te ASTM F2413-05 standard for protective footwear. The boot features a Hy-Trel waterproof bootie and 400g of Thinsulate to keep feet warm and dry all day long. The shoe is 100% non-metallic and airport friendly.

This is my second pair- hopefully when these wear out they will still be available.These are well made, warm, and always stayed waterproof.I have been wearing steeltoed workboots since 1977 and these are hands down the most comfortable and sturdy I've worn. They are also lightweight and good looking.

This shoe was comfortable and well liked at first but didn't keep up with someone who wears it to work outdoors on a daily basis (landscaping). It lasted about two months and came apart.

These boots are perfect for cold, wet weather. They have a tennis shoe fit with all the comfort. You can't go wrong with this boot. I recommend ordering your normal running shoe size and not a boot size (which for me is a half size larger).
