Product Description (Men's Converse Work Stealth Swat 6" Sport Boot)
The Stealth Swat 6" Sport Boot is an assault boot with a removable dual density polyurethane cushion insert, a side zipper and a shock eliminator heel plug.
The duel density outsole features an EVA cushion midsole and a Mountain Trail rubber bottom.
The composite toe securely protects the foot while remaining light weight and will not conduct heat, cold, or electricity. Composit toe meets or exceeds te ASTM F2413-05 standard for protective footwear.
The shoe is 100% non-metallic and airport friendly.

The shoes are true to size, I purchased my shoes about 1 year ago and they have preformed well with the exception that they tend to "squeek" when walking on hard surfaces and this is not an advantageous thing for "swat work boots".

I do a lot of walking and climbing at work in different environments (hot, cold, wet, dry, dusty, oily and clean area) the shoe is durable, light weight and flexible yet supportive. This is a great shoe for a person who's work is on the move.

These converseboots are a Very light true to fit shoe. The composite toe is a plus for work ( No more bloody toe). Very comfortable right out of the box. No break in period. I think I have found the Ideal replacement for the Dunham works boots that have been discontinued by the manufacturer. If you work in a machine shop or construction, buy these shoes I no longer come home with sore tired feet.

The boots are very light and the non-metal toes are much warmer than conventional steel toed boots. Only time will tell how they will hold up and wear. They seem to squeak when walking on tiles and hard floors, that is a definite minus.
