I have this boot in the 8" height. I wear them every day and love them. I wanted a replacement but this shorter model was the only one i can find w/ the side zipper (VERY nice feature). The problem is that the shorter boot does not feel as comfortable as the taller one. it feels very constricting around my ankle. Also, the zipper is wimpier on the short boot.

I originally purchased the black version of this boot a couple of months ago. These boots are a dream, so I invested in a 2nd pair, in desert tone.Really a great product, especially the convenient side zippers.
