I remembered wearing Converse when I was younger and really liked them...kind of an iconic symbol. After wearing them for a couple of days he remarked "these are totally awesome treds"! I guess that means he liked them...a lot. I always thought they were kind of "groovey". Times have changed but the Converse shoes have seemed to remain the same. Durable and long lasting "canvas" shoes, with great rubber soles.

I wear a 7 1/2-8 women's and first ordered a 5 1/2 and those felt like clown shoes. The 4 1/2 is the perfect length but are tight on the pinky toes. I'd probably keep them and try to stretch them out if I didn't have circulation issues. Looks like I'll be sticking with my decidedly less cool running shoes, unfortunately.

I thought I ordered the black on black shoes but I got the black/white ones instead. It could have been my mistake, I'm not sure. Anyway, they were a gift for my daughter and she loves them, so it all worked out! They are great, fit well, just what she wanted.

She loves the overall look and comfort of these shoes. I knew this shoe ran a bit large when I ordered it so I marked it 1/2 size large for other customers who might buy this shoe.
Wears this shoe: This shoe is only worn during her hip hop class, for now.
