I wore these for my wedding. They are very comfortable and a simply plain ballet type shoe. Not much of a sole, very thin so if it's raining or you're walking much outside, plan to use another pair of shoes and switch when you get inside which is what I did. I wear a narrow shoe and these fit me just fine without having to add any padding to them to keep them on. I didn't need to use the ties around my ankles, but with some dresses that might be a nice look. I would recommend these to anyone needing a flat dressy shoe under a gown.
