Tote is right size for all my needs. Large single compartment and very sturdy. Looks great with anything I wear. Straps aren't as long as I would like though but I can see having it for many years to come.

I needed a bag to carry everything: my work, my calendar (I still carry the big daytimer), my magazines for when I'm on the train, my lunch, my make up bag, wallet, and anything else I can think of. I need everything in one bag. This bag is GREAT!!! And the leather is fabulous! I'll carry this until I'm ready to retire and then use it to carry things for a weekend get away. I carry papers and objects to and from work on a daily basis. I was given the name bags because I always had a shopping bag or canvas tote or some other bag I carried daily. Now I have the Clava leather tote and it is perfect. Handles are long enough for shoulder but not too long to carry as a tote. There is plenty of room but not too big. The leather is soft and feels great. Well made and strong. Truly the perfect tote.
