I bought this bag to replace a previous bag. It's bigger, but the next size down was too small and didn't hold all my stuff. It looks very sturdy; I especially like the wide straps with rivets (the straps on my previous bag kept ripping loose, and the top flap was also ripping), and has a number of pockets, so I can sort the smaller things I like to carry with me.The two open outside pockets are perfect for a water bottle and my sunglasses case, with the zippered cases holding maps and ID on one side, and little gadgets, tissues, gum and snacks on the other (although having stuff in the open pockets means you can't have anything large or stiff in the side zippered pockets as they are bent around the bottle, glasses case, or whatever you put in there). If I could change anything, I would put in pen holders, add inside pockets for wallet, aspirin bottle, change, or whatever, and put more holes in the straps so I wouldn't have to find a way to punch my own (the straps are long and I'm short). I wish it were a little smaller, but I'm getting used to it.Overall I really like this bag. It's very comfortable to wear, much better than my old bag which looked nice but had thin straps. But it's so big I can't really call it a "purse" anymore.
