I have been looking for a pair of chukkas for the past year and was happy to find the boots on the internet. They are a bit pricey, but well worth it as they are comfortable, wear well, and are quite durable.

I bought these shoes for my college aged son for Christmas. He feels they are the most comfortable shoes he has ever worn. They are even more comfortable then his favorite athletic shoes.

Very comfortable shoe, and I like the looks. Only modest foot/ankle support. I haven't worn them long enough yet to talk about durability, etc., though past experience with suede, plantation-crepe soled boots suggests "taking it easy" on these shoes. Like all Clarks mens' shoes that I've had, these fit larger than other brands. I normally wear sz. 9M in most brands (like Rockport, Merrell), or size 9.5 in Nike basketball shoes. But even the 8.5M Wallabee boot I settled on is a bit loose-fitting, even with added orthotics and lifts. I read on other reviews elsewhere that you should order this shoe a full size smaller than other brands, since it might loosen even further...and I probably should've tried; that but find that a 1/2 size smaller (than other brands) "close enough" for my needs. (Oddly, my wife found the Clarks womens' shoes somewhat "snug" in her normal size, so my comments about sizing apply to Clarks MENS shoes only.)
Wears this shoe: around the home, work, whenever its not too wet or sloppy out.
