These are shoes I wore in the 70's and adored the feel of the gum sole, it is like walking on air.Put them on and wore them straight out of the box.I wanted to rate these shoes 1/2 size smaller than marked, I think it is the excellent arch support that takes up extra room in the shoe, keep that in mind when ordering them, it is the support not the shoe actually, I could remove it/support, I do anticipate with wear they will stretch being made of suede, I can't say they feel uncomfortable, just a little tight at the tip of the toes.

I love the boots except they feel a little tighter than I'd like. I think if I'd gotten the wide instead of medium, it may be a little too wide tho. I'm hoping they will stretch as they break in. I bought it because I know Clark is a good shoe and I need support.The service was great tho. Got them in a short period of time.
