Having had a hip replacement 15 years ago, I prefer a little heel height and a soft, yet firm, sole. This shoe met both criteria! It's also very practical because it can be worn with dressy or casual outfits. It is a very comfortable shoe, and I know I will wear it a lot.
Wears this shoe: During the day and the evening----with jeans or dress slacks.

Bought these because I was looking for a sandal that I could take on a trip to Italy and walk all day in. These are great all around sandals--can be worn with a casual dress, dress pants, shorts or jeans/leggings. They look great, and are substantial enough that they won't fall off the foot when walking quickly. So far I've worn them on an evening out in the city and have no doubt they will fit my needs. Were comfortable right out of the box and fit great. I usually take an 8.5 (narrow) street shoe but find that I sometimes have to go up to a 9. I got these in a 8.5 narrow and they fit great.

Wanting a brown summer slip on and KNOWING that the Clark's brand really, really worked for me-this shoe purchase was a no-brainer. The only "drawback", was that although I normally wear a wide width, I could have gone with a normal width without any problem. Overall-a really comfortable shoe from the first "wear!"
