I have worn this sandal for 2 days now and can report I have had no issues. The leather was a bit stiff out of the box but has softened up with wearing. This is a high quality shoe. There is an elastic band by the buckle allowing me to customize the fit.As with all gladiator type sandals, it is not the "coolest" feeling sandal (meaning there is a significant amount of leather wrapping your foot including the closed heel so it feels a bit more like a shoe than a sandal, but I found it to be comfortable. I have a narrow heel but the strap adjustment allowed me to cinch it up a bit tighter so the heel doesn't slide. Perfect heel height for me, I have worn it with pants and jeans. I think it will also look good with skirts. I purchased the black color, it is NOT distressed leather like the taupe. It is cute and slightly edgy! Nice padding under the ball of the foot. I did a fair amount of walking in these and had no issues! You have to unbuckle and buckle it each time you put it on, that's the only negative.
Wears this shoe: casual, black color is semi-dressy and is office appropriate
