I try many as each mfg has a different idea of design. mostly, the mfgs have a tough time with the straps, the size of the straps, where to afix the velcro, and the adjustment range. I've tried most of 'em, and the Clark Hudson ranks supreme. Comfortable, correct sizing, and the straps are perfect. Total velcro coverage. I almost had a heart attack I was so pleased. I cannot believe the Teva sandals that I tried with the Clarks were not even close in craftsmanship. The velcro on Teva's straps were so short, they wouldn't grip. Oh! I wear size 14 M, and I weigh 260#. I'm gonna buy another pair of Clarks before they run out. Wears this shoe: 24/7 except when sleeping
