I love the look of these boots. Part of what makes them look good in my opinion is the two-eyelet laces. However, for my feet, the laces are too low to get them comfortably tight. I may have exacerbated this problem by putting in cushioned inners but they're pretty unforgiving without. I tried tying the laces super tight but this just ended up being uncomfortable on the bridge of my foot. So, I've just gotten used to them being a bit floppy around the ankle and heel. Not a huge issue. I still wear them a lot.
