I swear by these shoes. I have worn them since the 1970's, when I was in the U.K. The leather will soften over time and be shaped by your foot. They may feel snug when you first step into them, however, they will stretch to fit your foot.

My Desert Treks are very, very comfortable shoes and look good with just about anything I wear. I did find, however, that wearing them out in the yard for hard-core yardwork... including shoveling copious amounts of muddy soil... was not my wisest move. They take about a day to break in and the insole (top of the shoe where it laces) fits very tight until broken in. I normally wear a 10, but needed a 9-1/2 for this shoe. The crepe sole wears forever! Perfect cushioning for a teacher... and they make me look unbelievably cool, hip, and happenin'!
Wears this shoe: To work (elementary teacher), church, and everywhere else.

I wore Wallabees in high school in the early to mid '70s and thought I'd never be able to find them again. Not only did I find and purchase another pair of Wallabees, but also got a pair of the original dark brown Treks.My opinion is that Clarks will never let you down, they are built to an extremely high quality standard and they last forever!They are the most comfortable shoes you'll ever wear!I have my wife and daughter hooked on Clarks' clogs and sandals now, too and they agree.

I've owned clarks before so I knew exactly what size to order. If you haven't tried on a pair before, I've found that my clarks shoe size is about a full size less than what I wear in running shoe.
