Really nice shoes, can be worn casual or with a more formal fit. Fit HUGE so be warned. I'm normally a size 10.5 - 11 in all my other shoes but wear a 9.5 in these.

I have always liked the Chukka boots by that and other names. Until a friend of mine recommended your website, I had not been able to find them. I do wish the Chukka came in a lighter gray.

I owned this shoe years ago and purchased this pair in part for nostalgia, but also the quality of Clarks that I remember. I got the shoe in Beeswax and really like the look. The leather isn't as supple as I remember, perhaps because it's not the split leather I had before. The shoes are comfortable, but will take some breaking in, which I wasn't expecting. Also, the insole is not nearly as cushioned as I expected and arch support leaves a lot to be desired. A gel insert purchase is on the horizon - that should help.
Wears this shoe: Casual wear with jeans or nicer slacks or cords.

Shoes are comfortable and felt true to size - however I have wide feet and ordered half a size up which fit perfectly in the width but are a bit long for me. The lacing system (only 2 eyelets) means that it's impossible to lace it tight enough to keep your heels in the shoe, but this isn't really a huge issue for me as I prefer my shoes a bit looser.Shoes look great with jeans - I thought it would be possible to try it with business wear but it's a bit too casual for that.
