I was looking for a pair of Clark's a bit dressier than my new Portlands, that I can wear with coat and tie, mainly to church. I had been buying SAS slip-ons but those are now priced far out of my range. I'm thrilled to find fine, dressy, durable, supportive and comfortable shoes at a final price roughly half that of a new pair of SAS slip-ons. I am 77 and doubt I will ever wear these new shoes out.I first contacted ShoeBuy looking for Solidus shoes for the outstanding foot support and extremely long wear they offer. I was delighted to find a full range of Clark's at reasonable prices, and quality comparable to my old-old Solidus shoes.

I bought this shoe because it is a bit more dressy than my favorite shoe, the Propet Galway walker. I normally wear a 9M in the Propet. I'm now thinking I should have gone with an 8 1/2 M in the Clark to get a snugger fit in the heel area. It's a nice shoe though, with enough sole thickness to provide good support and good cushioning.

I would have to say this is one of the best dress/casual shoes I've ever bought. It looks nice, is made durable, and most importantly, it is the most comfortable and lightwight dress shoes I have ever owned. Please note that this shoes feels half a size to a full size bigger than marked. Plus, because this shoes is a slip-on I would recommend trying them on for personal preference on fit before buying.
