Blazing new trails in outdoor performance, this waterproof leather hiking boot has a breathable, waterproof Gore-Tex® knit membrane and leather covered Ortholite® moisture wicking footbed to keep feet cool, dry and comfortable.
Waterproof full grain leather upper keeps the foot cool and dry. The padded collar and gusseted tongue add extra comfort.
Active Air® midsole absorbs shock and returns energy. Roomy toe box allows natural spread and enhances walking motion.
Rigid heel counter provides lateral stability while the lightweight, shock-absorbing midsole reduces fatigue. It has a durable molded rubber outsole that provides slip resistance and traction.

Too big, won't stay tied

These are nice shoes if they fit. However, they were at least one-half to a full size bigger than labeled. They also seem a little wider than expected. Another problem is that they won't stay tied no matter what I do. I don't know if it is the laces or something else, but they won't stay tied. Since I had to wear them to find this out, I guess I'm stuck with them and will have to eat the loss.
Wears this shoe: I don't know since I've only had them 2 weeks, but they would be good for winter

The boot is a bit heavy, but it is also very comfortable. It is great to wear especially when the weather is cooler and even wet. The boot also looks great. Haven't gone wrong with Clarks yet.
