I had ankle surgery last year and still have bouts of swelling and pain. I usually have to resort to wearing sneakers. I've been trying out lots of different boots so I have something comfortable and stylish to wear. These boots are perfect! They look great and the cushioning is the best I've come across. I know I will be able to spend hours in these without any problems. I ordered them in both black and dust and can't decide which color I like better. I may end up keeping both.

Earthies Ensenada

I tried the Earthies Ensenada in the black calf, unsuccessfully. I have a slightly wide foot, but wear shoes in a medium width. Yet this shoe was tight, both at the toe and the instep. I do not have a high instep. Also, I wear an 8.5 or 9 shoe, ordered the 9, and they are too short. I squeezed my toes into the too narrow toe area, reached the front of the shoe, and could only barely zip up the back zipper on the shoe. From my experience, this shoe is a half size short, but these are my first Earthies brand. I couldn't appreciate the arch support because the arch of the shoe was too far forward for my foot. Basically nothing about this shoe works for me, and I returned them.To those considering a purchase, I call attention to the shape of the toe area; it is pointed. My feet are a bit more square at the toe.

I have difficulty finding sandals that work for my poor feet due to many surgeries on one foot. Took a chance on these and once again not let down by Born. No break in time needed. Can walk all day in these while shopping with no pain. Slipped right on my left foot that swells at times due to surgeries. These shoes look great with capris, jeans or dresses. Love the height and sturdiness of them. Classy shoe. Best part they hide my scars which is important to me.
