Not comfortable for walking

I had high hopes for these shoes. The style was exactly what I was looking for. Based on the features I thought they would be comfortable. They seemed to be comfortable and fit okay when I tried them on but after walking in them for only a short while I decided they had to go back. The heel was too wide and the front of the shoes pinched my small toe. Not really of lot of padding on the ball of the foot where you step. If I'm going to spend over $100 for a pair of shoes comfort is a requirement.

These are really nice shoes that fit what I was looking for--extreme comfort while still being cute and somewhat dressy. They are very cushioned and the strap makes them feel nice and secure if you're on your feet, as I will be when I wear them. I ordered the merlot. It's a really nice color, deep brown-red but they didn't go well with what I planned to wear them with. They were also rather large, so I ordered a half size smaller in gray. I'm hoping that combination will be perfect!
