Tights are a type of hosiery which consist of a fabric that extends from the waist to feet. Some tights, like pantyhose, are made of see-through, stretchy fabrics such as nylon and have a panty piece built-in with reinforced layers that smoothes the silhouette to create a soft line under clothing. Tights can also be designed as the leg coverings worn by athletes, especially by runners and wrestlers. These tights are considered unisex and are usually a thicker spandex-blend.
