After starting my first full time job as a Registered Nurse, I was looking for a pair of shoes that would be comfortable for my 12+ hour shifts. I ordered a pair of Cherokee Michael shoes in size 12, medium width. I normally wear size 11 or 12, depending on the "cut" of the shoes. My Rockports fit well at a size 12, so I thought I'd try the same with my new shoes.Size 12 Medium was TOO LARGE. My heels would slip out of both shoes while walking. I used Shoebuy's GREAT free return shipping to get a pair in size 11.Size 11 is much better, but my right shoe still tends to flop on & off my heel while walking. I'm hoping that this will get better as the shoes get broken in, but this remains to be seen.The white leather surface of these shoes does not seem especially durable. One shoe is developing cracks in the white surface finish at the "crease" over my toes. This is a bit irritating, and I've never seen this problem in any of my past shoes.These shoes ARE very comfortable. My feet & legs no longer hurt at the end of 12-14 hour shifts in a busy ICU. Comfort is VERY important when I'm working 3-5 shifts in a row, without a day off in between.In short - these shoes are comfortable, but I've got some concerns with their fit & durability.

Being among 5 men in a class of 60, my appearance and shoe was so noticeable on our first day of wearing uniform. Almost everybody, including the Proffessor was full of praises. Feels comfortable to walk in, though a bit large.
