Great water shoes September 13, 2010

Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I bought these shoes to go whitewater rafting. They were perfect for this. They were very stable, had thick soles, and great traction on slippery rocks. There was no fabric to absorb water so it dried almost immediately. They are comfortable out of the river as well. Lately, I've been wearing these instead of my favorite flip flops.

Shoe Size: Felt half size larger than marked Shoe Width: Felt wider than marked I have a wide foot, sensitive balls of the feet, and a high arch. Chacos by far have the best arch support and most wide, thick cushioning of the sole, of any of the large number of sandals I have tried. The original sandals made in Colorado offered a bit more arch support, but in general, the Chinese version is quite well made.

Wide Shoes July 06, 2010

Shoe Size: Felt half size smaller than marked Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked My husband has extremely wide feet because of having hammer toes and a high instep. I thought that this might alleviate his problem when we were on the beach. However, one strap seems to be tight and he has some discomfort. I can't really blame the sandal. If he wears socks with it then it is ok and doesn't rub is toe as much.
Wears this shoe: He wears with socks every so often
